Hi,

Assuming i need to have specific indexes, and particularly the index for the WCM LIVE snapshots. This is to allow my users to search metadatas from the live snapshot AVM only, so that metadata results returned are based on the content pushed to Production.

Currently, lucene is indexing the content based on the latest snapshot.

Any help is appreciated.

Regards,

Live stores should already be indexed.

Is the live snapshots indexes separated from the other snapshots? I only want to search the live snapshot index, not the master or overlay copy.

Can i do a search on a specific snapshot? How do i go about doing this? Is there any sample example on this?

I tested using the community version, the Web Projects are not indexed at all.

It is only DM spaces are indexed.

How do i index the WCM Web Projects?

Hi

AVM staging stores are indexed (not authors sandboxes, not wofkflow sandboxes)
You can only search the current state = latest snapshot.
If you wish to search a given snapshot state you beed to revert to it (so it becomes the latest) or create a staging sandbox from the revision required (porbably a pain but can be done via the Java API)
If you deploy to AVM you can search the staging stores here too.

Hi, i am not getting anywhere.

I have provided some screenshots in picasweb in the below link for a simple web project with just a few files, configured my deployment receiver and deployed the snapshot  as "LIVE".
Then try searching for faq.xsd.

https://picasaweb.google.com/aldraylow/Alfresco#

If you see the screenshots, there is no indexing taking place on the wcm Live snapshot at all.

I am using Alfresco Community Version 3.3g.

If anyone can help will be good.
