how to cancle a process before timer start

I have a process running with a timer, before the timer end , I need to cancle the process, I am wondering whether I can do this and how ?

Can anybody help ?

Hi.

try to call org.activiti.engine.RuntimeService#deleteProcessInstance. I am not sure currently whether timer is deleted too (but you can check it easily).
