How much memory does alfresco server needs to startup?

Hi All,

         I already posted similar post but no response so far.My question is howmuch memory(RAM) is required for alfresco server to boot up.I didn't found any prerequirement or in README that saying abt memory needed to run alfresco server.My sys always crashing when server trying to start and JVM error file producing and saying that an "Unexpected System Error happend…." and i tried with all jvm versions but unable to start.I couldn't understand whether it of problem with JVM version or memory?
       
       Can anybody suggest….?

System Environment:

Processor:AMD Athlon XP 1700+
RAM:256 MB
OS:Windows XP SP2,Fedora Core
Alfresco :Alfresco-tomcat1.3,Alfresco-jboss1.3,Alfresco-tomcat1.4PR etc

It should start in 64MB - but we recommend 512MB or above for multi-user access. On my test box, I use a VM size of 128MB which is fine for single user testing.
