How do we access the repository via FTP

As I understand it, Alfresco can be accessed via FTP.  How do we access it?  What port does it run on?

By default, the port 21 is configured.
And to access it:
ftp://<<host>>/alfresco
i.e. ftp://localhost/alfresco

Which version of Alfresco you are using?
Check the file-servers.properties file at (alfresco\WEB-INF\classes\alfresco\subsystems\fileServers\default) folder.
This file has all the default configurations done for FTP.
