How do i turn off unused services?

Hi all,

How do I turn off unused repository services like NFS, FTP, and IMAP ?

I tried setting the following to false in WEB-INF/classes/alfresco/file-servers.properties

cifs.enabled=false
ftp.enabled=false
nfs.enabled=false‍‍‍

…yet those services are still running indicated by the startup log

You shouldn't be changing any files in WEB-INF.  

Try those settings in your alfresco-global.properties.   Or if you are using 3.2 Enterprise then you can switch them on and off through the JMX console.
