How do I change the default role.

We are using Alfresco 1.2 Enterprise Version On Linux. Default role for any NEW user is Consumer (Guest). I would like to change the default role to Contributor. How do I do that?

Do you mean the default role for the Guest account? As all users have full permissions within their own spaces? Or do you mean the default permission applied for all non-admin users to the Company Home space?

Generally you change permissions using the Mange Space Users action in the More Actions menu.
