Dear All,

Im using Alfresco Community 2.1..
I wonder, is it possible to run Tomcat as Service on Win2000 Pro, or Win XP.
So i dont have to log-in, click the alf_start.bat to run tomcat.
Thx Before

Look in the \bin subfolder of your Tomcat installation - there should be a service.bat file which will help.

Thanks,
Mike

Hi Mike,

Thx for the link…
But i still have problem with set the CATALINA_HOME

I put alfresco on root directory…so the command

C:\alfresco\tomcat\bin>set CATALINA_HOME=C:\alfresco\tomcat
after that i type

C:\alfresco\tomcat\bin>service.bat install
Installing the service 'Tomcat5' …
Using CATALINA_HOME: C:\alfresco\tomcat
Using CATALINA_BASE: C:\alfresco\tomcat
Using JAVA_HOME:
Using JUM: auto
Failed Installing 'Tomcat5' service

What happent?? and i'm still confused with adding command to system path?? how i do that??
I didnt do any of the MySQL instruction because i dont want to use MySql. i wanna stick with HSQL.
Please, can u help me out…

Thx Again
Yandri
