Hit Highlighting

I have a question.

It is possible, in principle, to implement Hit Highlighting in Alfresco search function?

If the answer is no, my question is, why?

What is your opinion,is Hit Highlighting an important function or or minor importance?

Hello,

in principle, Hit Highlighting can be implemented in Alfresco Search - on both search engines, Lucene and SOLR. There are some partners who have already implemented such a feature and Alfresco may provide Hit Highlighting based on SOLR out-of-the-box in a future Alfresco release (no concrete plans / timetable yet as far as I know).

Depending on the use case for which Alfresco is to be used, hit highlighting can be both - an important feature and a irrelevant gimmick.

I need to implement it in Alfresco Community 4.0d.

Do you know if there is anybody who can disclose some tipps and give guidance to achieve hit highlithing?
Or it is traded as more or less secret knownledge?
