I received an e-mail from a work colleague asking me for a procedure to delete shortcuts. I explained that all she needed to do was click the trash icon next to the shortcut she wished to delete in the Shelf area; however, no such icon existed next to her shortcuts, nor can I find a reason they aren't displayed.
Any help solving this problem is sincerely appreciated.
