Header Item Link Permissions

Morning, everyone –

I am curious if there are other permission options available for header items (links) besides permission="admin"?

I have a custom link in the header that I would like to be displayed to only users in a certain group or with certain permissions (read-write, contributor, etc).

Is this possible? Or is "admin" the  only acceptable permission type? If so, any tips on modifying this call to check for a different permission type?
