Google Search Appliance and file permissions

I want a Google Search Appliance to index the content of my Alfresco repository.

Setting the appliance to crawl Alfresco's CIFS share sounds like the easiest way, but how about rights?
Will the appliance show to a user only the documents to which he has access?
Any experience with Google Search Appliance and read permissions?

Hi

You would have to access CIFS with admin rights.
It does indeed respect users' permissions.

We are currently adding support to index the content in Alfresco using SOLR, including reflecting users' access rights in the search results.
The supporting web scripts and possibly the tracking framework would help integrating with Google Search Appliance.

I have heard some already have their own integration with Google Search Appliance.
