Getting Version2Store node-uuid

Hi,
I am using the SOAP webservice api.
Can anyone let me know is there a way to get the Version2Store node-uuid of my document when i check in the file.
My requirement is I need to save the version2Store node-uuid of the document when I check it in so that next time I can directly access it using the reference object from version2Store.

Can anyone let me know how can I directly get the uuid of a version of a document while creating a new version??
I wish to save the older version's uuid when I create a new version
