Generic Questions about Alfresco

Hi All,

I have been trying to evaluate Alfresco for one of our clients who is looking for a low cost solution. But, in order to do so I have a list of questions I am searching an answer for.

If somebody who knows alfresco well, can send me their email id I can send the questions across and would really appreciate the answers.

The questions are of the following types:

1: No. of concurrent users Alfresco can support.
2: LDAP tools it supports
3: App servers it supports (I know it supports Jboss but can it work on other app servers like IBM, BEA etc)

All questions are of similar nature.

Please send your list of questions to info at alfresco.com - hopefully we can answer them for you.

1. hard to answer as it depends on so many factors, i.e. which client you are using (web-client, portlets, webdav, CIFS…) and how hard those users are hitting Alfresco. This may be some help:

2. Not a question i can personally answer.

3. TomCat, JBoss, BEA weblogic and Oracle AppServer are now supported platforms. I think WebSphere has been tried by users…

Hi there,

Could you present to us the answers to your research once it is done. I am particularly interested on the type of applications that are supported by Alfresco.

I would understand if it is not allowed but you can email me if it is alright.
