Fulltext Search - Problems with 'Umlauts' like äÃ

I don't find words with umlauts like äüö… with the fulltext search in the doucment content. I only find documents that have such characters in the name. Does andybody has the same problem, or better, does andybody solved this issue

Hi

What is the default local for the server? What locale did you select when you logged in? Have you changed any of the localisation config?

If you log in, create the sample doc and do the search do you find it?
If not please describe exactly what you do to reproduce this and I will take a look.

hey andy, thank you for your reply. an new installation of openoffice solved the problem. kind regards andreas
