Ftp APPE issue 'Unrecognised container format'

I'm using Alfresco ftp for bzr version control. but it didn't work correctly because I always get this error message after sending my commits:

Run command: bzr commit -m asdf test
Committing to: ftp://admin@ecs.lan:21/Alfresco/Sites/dawaween/testrep/trunk/
added test
bzr: ERROR: Unrecognised container format: 'B260'‍‍‍‍

I asked bzr guys about this error and they said that it's related to my FTP server configurations because of Ftp APPE issue.

Could you please help me out?

• This issue doesn’t occur with other FTP servers.
• I'm using alfresco-community-4.2.a under ubutnu 12.10 server

Have you raised the issue in JIRA?   (issues.alfresco.com)    The link you have specified suggests that it could be a bug in the alfresco's APPE command although it does seem to be occurring on rather too many different ftp servers.

Problem needs diagnosing and fixing.    A wireshark trace of the FTP session would help isolate the problem.

Looks like a bug in FTPSrvSession.procStoreFile.    Please raise in JIRA if not already done.
