From Signavio to Activiti Modeler

I have some process definitions modeled in Signavio using the online trial. I want to export them from Signavio and import them into Activiti Modeler, but I cannot find the way.

Is there any easy way?

No, the open source version of Signavio (on which the Activiti Modeler is based) does not have import functionality.

The ActivitiN Designer  however, is capable of opnening them in the next release.

Hi Matias.

Good news, there is a possible way (if you still can access your Signavio account): With Cycle. Add the Signavio Account to your Repositories (see http://www.activiti.org/userguide/index.html#N1192D for how to add repositories). Then you can access the process model there and have an action available to copy the model. As a target you can select your Activiti Modeler.

This way, I always copy BPMN 2.0 models between different Signavio/Activiti Installations we have 🙂

Cheers
Bernd

Sounds like abuse. Where can I report that. I hope they close all your accounts down very quickly

(but it is great functionality)
