What is printing the output "Supplied free of charge with no support…" at the bottom of the screen?  I've been looking everywhere and I can't find it.

Cheers, thanks in advance!

I am concerned about the comment that says:
i have follow instructions successfully. the page footer is gone. but when you try to start an advanced workflow on a document, i get an invitation error.
I do not want this to happen to me; workflows are an important part of what I'm doing with Alfresco.  Have you (or anyone) personally tried this in the Community edition?  Are you also getting that error or no?

I've done this in the community edition (http://www.mcqueeney.com/roller/page/tom?entry=how_to_get_rid_of) and I am able to start an advanced workflow.

Hi all,

I tried this in test and on two production boxes.  It worked in test.  Each production box gave a different bootstrap error message.  One said, "no such method" error.  The other said "Error creating bean with name 'shutdownBackstop'…Error creating bean with name 'InboundSMTP'…"
I am using Community - v3.2 and v3.3.  Like they said in the weblog, I unzipped the old JAR file, replaced the PageTag.class file then re-zipped the whole set into a new alfresco-web-client*.jar file.
What do you think is wrong?  Is this still the correct place to get the PageTag.java code?
svn://svn.alfresco.com/alfresco/HEAD

Thanks

I may be wrong on this, but isn't the code from HEAD on 3.4? Maybe your issue is using a 3.4 compiled jar with the rest of the repository being 3.3g.

Edit:

I did not have to unzip a jar for this class to work. After downloading the source, make the edit, rebuild with ant then replace the old jar with the new one.

Ahh… that makes sense.  OK so then where do I download *source* for 3.2 and 3.3?

Get a copy from Alfresco's subversion server. 3.3g should be revision 20557.
