Hello!

Can I made a subfolder public, but the root folder should be private?

I have a project folder structure. Each company should work in their folders and subfolder. But should never can go up a folder higher.

I tried to setup security, but it doesn´t work.
When the user is not a member of the site, he can´t get access to his folder.
But when he is member, he can see all folders.

When you make parent folder private and sub-folder public then non-admin user wont be able to traverse up-to Public folder.

non-amdin user can search for that folder and can access that folder but can not traverse like CompanyHome->Parent->Public.

You need to make preant folder public too then create all sub folders and hide/show sub-folders as per your requirement
