Folder (created by Manager) visibility only to particular group within the Site

I have a site in which there are 1-Manager 15-Contributors.

In which 5 contributors belongs to group-1 and
next 5 contributors belong to group-2 and remaining to group-3.


My query is that Folders/files created FOR group-1 by MANAGER, should be visible to members of group-1 and Manager himself only.

But however it will not be visible to any members other than group-1. Similarly same thing for group-2, group-3 also.


How to achieve this… Can you guide me?

You can create different groups as group1,group2,group3.
then add all respective users in groups.
On each individual folders set permission explicitly for respective group and remove inherited permissions.

Hi,

To achieve above thing alfresco share side inside site's documentlibrary, default there is no action visible to manage repository permissions.

The action you will see is just to manage site level permission.

So to enable repository side manage permission action, you need to modify share-documentlibrary-config.xml file where already this action has been configured.
