hello everyone!
i followed the instructions in
http://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/Alfresco_SDK
the FirstFoundationClient can execute right,
while when i execute the JCRSamples
the errors is

You need to fix the location of your alf_data directory.

Create a repository.properties file in the appropriate extensions folder (tomcat/shared/classes/alfresco/extension if you're using Tomcat) with the following:
# Directory configuration
dir.root=c:/alf_disk/alf_data‍‍
replacing the path with the folder specific to your installation.

Hello i checked the custom-repository.properties and it mentioned dir.root=C:/Alfresco/alf_data just the location where my installation is placed. Still i get the following error:

It seems you have some configuration problems..
If I were you, I would at fisrt try to redownload the SDK from sourceforge and see if this problem still exist.
Or maybe you are lacking of some jar files or need to regenerate some code by axis..

Do not be frustrated, it takes me two days to get all the examples running. You can try the SimpleExample at first
and then MixedExample, WikiExample. Good luck!

As you can see in the error, Alfresco finds dir.root=./alf_data so it seems that your configuration changes are not loaded. Maybe your are not changing the appropriate file. Your custom-repository.properties should be locatred at shared\classes\alfresco\extension. If you change it, see that Alfresco finds dir.root at the correct location and you still have the error, I recommend that you try with a fresh installation, deleting your alf_data dir and making a remove and setup of your database.

Hello (first posting)

from my little experience with v2.1:
I guess you have to edit
/SDK JCRSamples/source/alfresco/extension/custom-repository.properties
or
/FirstFoundationClient/source/alfresco/extension/custom-repository.properties
depending on the (eclipse) project that you want to run.
The line dir.root=./alf_data may be changed to your set path, e.g. c:/srv/alfresco/data
