Firefox Alfresco Extension doesn't work with Firefox 3.0

Is an update planned to the Alfresco Firefox Extension?

The current one is not compatable with Firefox 3.0

Hi the firefox extension (0.91) does work with 3.0x. All you have to do is
a) rename the extension: xpi to xpi.zip
b) edit the install.rdf inside the zip and change 'em:maxVersion=' to <3.*>
c) delete the .zip ending
d) install

At least it works in 2.1 community…

Where did you find this out? Is it documented anywhere?

I don't know. I've just looked into the xpi and saw that it was a zip file. The rdf is pretty much self-explanatory.

The existing file had "2.9+" in it as the "max version" - is that the wrong syntax?
Cos as a human, "3.0" is indeed part of the set of "2.9+" to me!


It's all a bit moot for me anyways as CIFS is broken on my installation :roll:
