File Systems supported by Alfresco Community Edition

Kindly answer below questions on the File systems for Content storage:

  1. What are the File systems that are supported by Alfresco Community Edition for Content storage?
  2. Does Community edition support SAN and XFS?
  3. Does Alfresco Enterprise version support any other File systems which are not supported by Community edition?

Alfresco "supports" any normal looking file system.    Enterprise additionally supports XAM and S3.   Not entirely sure about the status of both of those.

Xfs should be o.k.  With alfresco.    The debate upon xfs's 'atomic rename' problem does not really apply to alfresco since alfresco's metadata operations *are* atomic and ACID.
