just curious

1)  i cannot find rss in release 1.2, am i missing some thing here or is it postponed. 

2)
i read in the wiki that some new actions are added, i cant find them too.

Hi,

There is an example RSS template in the 1.2RC2 release. This provides an example of how you could expose items in the repository as an RSS feed.

You may also want to have a look the templating guide in the wiki for more information.

What new actions did you see mentioned in the wiki that you can not find in the release?

hi,

thank u verymuch for ur promt reply, i finally found rss template in the webclient.

now i have small problem, i am delveloping my own client using laszlo so i need a way to support rss from teh repository, i am thinking in the form of an action, just tell me the concept how to do it, i will try to implement it.

There's already a template service (detailed in the template guide mentioned below) that will probably do most of what you need and being a servlet is not tied to JSF.

The servlet allows you to run a template against an item in the repository and stream the results back to the client.
