Failure - could not create new item

I have downloaded a lcoal copy of Share, and amy trying to add Tags.

When I do I get the 'Failure - could not create new item' message.

Any ideas what to check?

I would check catalina.out in tomcat/logs.

I would also make sure that search is functioning properly because tags depends on search.

I would also verify that the user running Alfresco has write access to the alf_data directory.
