Are you serious? You waited 1.5 hours… not years, months, weeks or days but hours for a response. Based on this you decided to go for another product. Then I whish you all the luck eh…. patience in the world.

Oh, and in case you are still interseted in a response… the answer is in your post (at least that is my conclusion)

required: org.eclipse.core.resources 3.6.0
running: Eclipse SDK Version: 3.5.2

That's right, we only support Eclipse classic 3.6.1 at the moment.

I think this is not clear at all from installation instructions.
You will understand what to improve )  This is Eclipse from official Ubuntu repo.

May be I will give a chance to your product in future, but i don't use Eclipse in dev and just had need to make processes as pictures for hobby project.

I agree we should be more specific in the documentation and I understand exact version requirements are being noted. We are also considering offering a standalone Eclipse product to download so you wouldn't have to worry about getting the correct version yourself, which would probably fit your use case better.

We obviously have no control over what is in Ubuntu repositories and we will also not be focussing on alignment with them since we require more up to date versions of Eclipse to:
a) Be able to use certain functions specific to version 3.6.1. and higher
b) Be able to allow developers who install Designer as a plugin to use an up to date version of Eclipse

No offense, but all the people that have replied to you in a relatively short time and in a friendly matter are doing this in their own time.
They do not get paid for this. That's the power of open source.

If you prefer another BPMN product, no problem - still good friends. But you will have to pay big bucks to find a product with an SLA < 1 day.
