External Links, Navigator Sync

when using an external link into Alfresco (2.0.1),
the navigator doesn't show the current location.

is there anyway to force the navigator to show the current location when linking in (or always link/sync).

Currently no.

The navigator is meant as a passive navigation aid i.e. there is no sync between the navigator and the space on the right.

This is planned for a future release but no specifics have been decided yet.
