external application integration with Alfresco collaboration

Hi,
   I am developing an application on seam frame work using rich faces for UI and EJB3.0 for BL.
   To collaborate effectively, we need a tool to facilitate communication, sharing information etc.
    Alfresco share provides such type of tools like Event calendar dashlet.Could you please help me to integrate alfresco   collaboration tools in my application?
