Export and Import contents

I was reading about the Export and export by alfresco content package (http://www.alfresco.org/mediawiki/index.php/Export_and_Import). But I can't understand how I can use de Command Line tools…

By example,

org.alfresco.tools.Export

I was thinking in some this

java org.alfresco.tools.Export usage

But can't find the source directory.

Hi Pedro,

You need to set the classpath so that the tool and dependent classes are found.  You can find an example of this classpath at

http://www.alfresco.org/mediawiki/index.php/Export_and_Import_View_Schema

Also, please be aware that if you have a relative path set in your repository.properties for the index and content directory locations, you must run the command line in the appropriate location.  Changing repository.properties dir.root to an absolute path will mean you can run from any directory.
