Exclusive Gateway, default flow

I am investigating Activiti 6 beta2.

Setting up an ExclusiveGateway, with two flows out, "flow44" and "flow45". Skip expression and condition are default values for both flows (= empty).

If I set the default flow in ExclusiveGateway to "flow44", the actual selected flow is "flow45".
If I set the default flow in ExclusiveGateway to "flow45", the actual selected flow is "flow44".

It seem illogical to me, is there a good reason?

Hmm not sure I'm following. Can you post your process xml here, so we can try it out?

Yes, I created a simple flow for you, and attached.

The exclusive gateway has default flow = "flow2", which leads to "usertask1".

When running it selects flow "flow3", which leads to "usertask2".

Your sequence flow do not have any conditions. Meaning flow 3 evaluates to true and is selected (no condition = true)
