Hi all,
Please help me solve this problem. I have this problem when I do this step
1. I create new content type and this content type can display in content type list
2. I used icapture program to tranfer file to alfresco and that file maping of new content type and content property. And after tranfer file success from icapture to Alfresco, that file can view details in Afresco Explorer.
But I cannot preview file details in Alfresco Share, It show this error message.
An error has occured in the Share component: /share/service/components/form.
It responded with a status of 500 - Internal Error.
Error Code Information: 500 - An error inside the HTTP server which prevented it from fulfilling the request.
Error Message: 04050005 Failed to load script 'classpath*:alfresco/site-webscripts/org/alfresco/components/form/form.get.js': 04050004 SyntaxError: invalid property id (file:/C:/Alfresco/tomcat/webapps/share/WEB-INF/classes/alfresco/site-webscripts/org/alfresco/components/form/form.get.js#62(eval)#383)

I have not specifically dealt with that error message, but may be able to assist. Have you modified any Share specific configuration files like share-config-custom.xml? Are you trying to expose the custom metadata in Share. If so, you may have a malformed config file. Was the document loaded into a Share site's document library directly or into the repository?

Hi,
I'm having problems uploading files in a share site's Document Library directly.
When we upload a file alfresco share says it uploaded fine but then the files are never listed in the library's folders…
From within the Site Dashboard, looking in Site Activities dashlet, we can see the list of files that were supposedly uploaded but if you hover over them, the link shows 'document-details?nodeRef=null' and clicking on a file shows a pop-up message 'Requested item cannot be displayed as it is no longer available' with error trace:
An error has occured in the Share component: /share/service/components/preview/web-preview.
It responded with a status of 500 - Internal Error.
Error Code Information: 500 - An error inside the HTTP server which prevented it from fulfilling the request.
Error Message: 11100005 Failed to load script 'classpath*:alfresco/site-webscripts/org/alfresco/components/preview/web-preview.get.js': 11100004 TypeError: Cannot read property "{http://www.alfresco.org/model/content/1.0}content" from undefined (file:/opt/alfresco-3.4.b/tomcat/webapps/share/WEB-INF/classes/alfresco/site-webscripts/org/alfresco/components/preview/web-preview.get.js#23)
Server: Alfresco Spring WebScripts - v1.0.0 (Release Candidate 2 675) schema 1,000
This happens on a brand new out the box alfresco 3.4b installation running on a linux host. Using mysql, tomcat, etc as bundled with the alfresco installer…
Has this issue been resolved yet?
Regards,
PM.

Hello again,
I've tried uploading files into a share site's Document Library using two different firefox web browsers (v3.0.16 and v3.6.6) and one google chrome web browser (v8.0.552.215).
It turns out that file uploading works only using firefox v3.0.16. It doesn't work when I use firefox v3.6.6 or google chrome v8.0.552.215. The popup window to upload files on firefox v3.0.16 is different to the popup window to upload files on both firefox v3.6.6 and google chrome v8.0.552.215.
Is there a list anywhere showing which versions of different web browsers alfresco and alfresco share works best with?
Thanks again,
PM.

I can upload using Firefox 3.6.12 in Windows. I've been using Firefox (several versions) with Alfresco for over a year and have never seen an upload problem.
Here is the only list I've seen: http://www.alfresco.com/services/subscription/supported-platforms/3-x/

Hello Steve,
Having just read your post I can now narrow down the issue a little further…
The two browsers I tried which didn't work are on a machine different to the one browser on which it did work. I have now tried using google chrome (v8.0.552.215) on the machine which was running firefox (v3.0.16 - the one which worked), and I can say that uploading files using v8.0.552.215 on that machine does work. One difference seen in the browsers on the machine which works is that, they show a different upload file popup window to the ones shown in the browsers which don't work. The popup windows which do work include the following message: 'With the latest Flash Player installed, you can upload multiple files. Download it from the Adobe Flash Player Download Center'.
Can the problem therefore be in the version of Flash which is installed on the machine whose browsers do not work?

PM.
