I'm receiving following error message on flash preview: preview cannot be displayed since it is not valid AVM2 movie clip
I'm running 3.0b on Centos5.1 64bit

Any good ideas how to track this down?

You'll need to use a dev snapshot of swftools, i.e. newer than 0.8.1.

Thanks,
Mike

Thask for your answer. I have pdf2swf - part of swftools 2008-08-21-2105. Do I need some others parts from swftools package?

No, that should be it. Do all new previews show this error? Could this have been generated with an older version of pdf2swf?

Good point! That was indeed the case. I only used one file for testing and that was from the time I have old version of the tool installed.
Apparently preview is cached……

Thanks a lot. With new version it works.

Yes - each type of preview (i.e. Document Library thumbnail and Flash preview) is stored as a child association of the content itself and updated when the content is. You can see these in the JSF client's node browser should you want to poke under the covers.

Glad it's all working now.

Cheers,
Mike

How do I find the old version of PDF2SWF?

Why would you want an old version of pdf2swf..?
