Error Importing SDK AlfrescoEmbedded into Eclipse

Hi all,

I'm working on migrating a development environment to work with Alfresco Enterprise 4.0 and am having an issue importing the Eclipse project for the "SDK AlfrescoEmbedded" module. When I import it, I see the following error in Eclipse:

Java Build Path Problems (1 item)
XML format error in '.classpath' file of project 'SDK AlfrescoEmbedded': Bad format

Has anyone else seen this issue and/or resolved it? I re-downloaded the SDK multiple times to ensure it wasn't file corruption.

Thanks,
Chris

Solved:

Looks like my particular version of Eclipse (Indigo Service Release 1 on Mac OS X 10.7.3) does not like white space in front of the <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"> document declaration tag of the project .classpath file.

I removed the extra white space and it imported without a hitch.

Thanks for sharing this. I encountered the same issue and was wondering why it worked for the 3.4 SDK but not for 4.0.
