Error - Execute background rule pb with ldap imported users

Hi,

I have a problem with imported users and rules.

I have a rule which send a mail to an ldap user imported in alfresco.

If in rules wizard i set true "Run rule in background"
i see this error and i have no mail :

org.alfresco.repo.security.authentication.AuthenticationException: Could not find user by userName‍

If in rules wizard i set false "Run rule in background" all is working well.

I'm using 1.4, is there other users with same problem ?

Hi

Your rule is running before the transaction importing the user has completed. It can run in the back ground - but it must be after the transaction has committed. The async rule is not seeing the person yet to be committed from the other thread.
