EnSpeed Alfresco Virtual App & ‘word to pdf’ conversion

Hi,

I have downloaded and installed the ‘EnSpeed Alfresco Virtual Appliance for vmware’ (see http://www.enspeed.com/products_alfresco.html ).

I find it useful because it is easy to install and allows to easily have many alfresco instances on the same server.
The appliance also includes openoffice, but when I try to convert a word document into pdf  I get the following message:

Failed to run Actions due to error: No transformation exists between mimetypes application/msword and application/pdf .

When installed on vmware the appliance is a red hat linux machine.

What should I check?
