Empty category result in Node browser for lucene query

Hi,
I have created categories in category management.
The category view,
         Themes
                 en-US
                 it-IT
under themes added two categories (en-US and it-IT)
when I search category by using following lucene query,
+TYPE:"cm:category" +@cm\:name:"en-US" +PATH:"/cm:generalclassifiable//cm:Themes//*" I am getting the en-US category result.
But when I search for it-IT category I am getting the empty results.
+TYPE:"cm:category" +@cm\:name:"it-IT" +PATH:"/cm:generalclassifiable//cm:Themes//*" the query returns empty results.

when I rename the it-IT to it-ITA the same lucene query is giving the exact results,I don't understand what was the problem for it-IT category

kindly help me to resolve this issue.
