email template error causing inability to invite users

Hello, I  cannot invite users using admin and the alfresco (version 5.1) log points to 'cannot find email template'. I have tried editing permissions for data dictionary and still it doesn't work. I cannot also find the email template folder in data dictionary. I don't know how if it got deleted by another user. However when i set email invite to false in global properties the invite works.

Please some help to solve this.

Hi

as you pointed out the email template folder is missing so sending the invitation will fail. You have te repair the email template folder by either reinstalling Alfresco or copying the folder from a second complete Alfresco installation.
