Elements of Kickstart as separate module

Hello everyone,

do you plan to release the features included in kickstart regarding adhoc process generation as a separate module so that it can easily be included in other webapplications?

I think it can be very interesting for software vendors to include such a functionality in their own product, with a different UI technology. In some simple cases, there is no need to model the process using a graphical modeller.

I took a look at the source code and for me, the generating part is very interesting, but it is currently mixed with the UI functionality.

Hi Frauke.

Currently nobody is driving it. Since we are pretty busy at the moment I don't want to promise it for the next days or weeks. But if it is important for you, best to open a new support case, then we can track that and do it asap (my rough guess is 5.6, if it is not urgent for you).

Yes, we did something like that….

But in fact we have to do it every time a new Activiti version comes out.
