Electronic Signatures for check in/check out?

We're a medical company and we need a content/document management system that has electronic signature capability for check in/check out - we have compliance issues for iso/fda, etc.

Anyone use this dms and have to adhere to the same?

Does Alfresco have electronic signature capabilities?

Hi,
I have seen a custom solution with digital signature using .P12 certificates stored on a smart card. It was done by integrating a Java applet, used for making a signature amd for a communication with a smart card reader, with Alfresco. It is not trivial to accomplish but it is in 100 % possible.
