EditOnline action not working + Windows XP + Office 2007

Hi Friends,

We are using load balancer. we have two alfresco nodes.
Using windows XP as OS.

Microsoft Office 2007.
And alfresco 4.1.4 Enterprise

Now problem is :

When we use EditOnline action of alfresco share it opens word (blank) means load office.

Other case, if I open MS word blank doc, and then click EditOnline action, then my word document opens successfully.

So Problem is, my EditOnline action works when I have MS word instance opened ,otherwise just open MS office with no document.

This is issue for windows XP only. Windows 7 with MS office 2007 works fine.
So configuration seems ok.

Any pointer?

What is in your XP registry about dav(davs)? Value for the key:
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\davs\shell\open\command] - ?

Hi Alex,

There is no key named davs/dav in  HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT/
I double verified.

Are you pointing to something else then please let me know .
This is something important and have little timeline to end
