Hello, I am using eclipse helios and when tried to get the activiti designer plugin "http://activity.org/designer/update" I got an "Access Forbidden" reply from the activiti server.
How can I get the plugin?
Thank you very much in advance.
Best Regards.

Are you sure your proxy-server is set in the Eclipse Preferences? (if you're not behind a proxy, you can just ignore this comment Smiley Wink)

Hello,

i am facing the same problem. with and without the use of a proxy. I cant access http://activity.org/designer/update throug the browser too Smiley Sad

howto get the plugin now?

sidenote: i have developed a realy large workflow 3 years ago based of openflow for plone/zope. now i think about migration to this base because its maintained right now Smiley Wink
the only thing i cant find ist user integration from AD/LDAP and (if possible) single sign on. is there a way to do this right now?

thanks in advance

Hi,

Are you aware that you have activity.org in your url in stead of activiti.org?
It's by the way correct that the browser gives you a permission denied, but in Eclipse it should work fine.
BTW, I'll upload an archived update site soon, so you don't have to use the update site and can download the Activiti Designer package via HTTP and install it with a local update site.

@cyberdesigner.net,

No LDAP integration out of the box yet, but check out http://forums.activiti.org/en/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=564&p=2418 and http://forums.activiti.org/en/search.php?keywords=ldap&terms=all to see other interested people. Guess it won't take long before the first activiti community-member will write and post an implementation. maybe it's you Smiley Wink

Hi,

You can now download an archived version of the Activiti designer:

http://www.activiti.org/designer/archived/activiti-designer-0.6.0.zip

Thank you very much for the download link, In the post I made a typo "activity" instead of activiti but as I reviewed my eclipse download link and it is ok.  http://activiti.org/designer/update
Is there any problem with ip access? May be it deals with ip locations.
Best Regards.

Hello, I downloaded and installed the plugin from the site in this forum thread http://www.activiti.org/designer/archived/activiti-designer-0.6.0.zip and when I tried to test it I found many missing devices, it just shows two events start and end, no more. Documentation mention much more facilities like intermediate timer events and so on.
There is also a mention to a Complete perspective besides the Activiti perspective but this downloaded plugin is missing that also.
About site access to get this plugin installed eclipse connected to other sites and downloaded many dependencies.
how can I get the complete product?
Thank you in advance.
Best Regards.

Hi,

Which documentation do you mean? The Activiti Designer currenly support two a start and a end event.
The intermediate timer event is currently not yet supported, but we'll add it in the february 1st release.
And I don't know what you mean with a Complete perspective, can you explain that?
To prevent Eclipse from downloading dependencies from other sites you can uncheck the "Contact all update sites during install".

Best regards,

Tijs
