Easy way to make installer package for Linux?

Hi folks!

I wonder if there is an easy way to build a homegrown installable package for Linux? Like the one which is downloadable from Alfresco's website?

Coulnt' find a target for that in build.xml, so maybe an additional toolchain is needed? Just out of curiosity - have just built my homegrown Alfresco, and of course it would be NTH to make an installer from that

The assets to build the installers are available in the root/installer directory.

You need InstallJammer to use the mpi files.

Unfortunatly there are a few resources that Alfresco can't distribute that are used to make the installers.
