The upgrade to 4.0b will have run database upgrade scripts that may mean 3.4 code doesn't work correctly against the new schema.

Are you sure you restored both the database and the contentstore?

Thanks,
Mike

There's no such thing as a "downgrade" script.

If you need to downgrade you will need to restore from backup prior to the upgrade or reverse out the updates that were run by the previous upgrade.

Occasionally downgrade will work if there have not been conflcting changes, but that's not the general case.

thanks for answer
ok i will install previous release and restore data from old backup (maked before upgrade) on another server,
i will have 2 running alfresco - 3.4d and 4.0b
content on 3.4 will be outdated
how i can move to this system data, created after upgrade?
