Does LDAPS work without Share on HTTPS?

On Alfresco Community 4.2.e, 4.2.f, 5…

I just would know if :
1) I need to turn Share on HTTPS to use LDAP with SSL ?
2) I can turn Share on HTTP and use LDAP with SSL (+ Frontal Apache on HTTPS) ?

Hi,

I can tell for sure that Both cases should work for 5+ version, because I test them several times. For the earlier version I can tell for sure.
Best way to be sure if you test it yourself.

It is true too for the 4.2.e and above.
