Hi,
I am testing alfresco 3.2 on my system and just uploaded some files.
Just two questions for searching/document preview:
1) In my document there is the word "economic". When I use the search for "economic" the correct document is displayed. When I search for "eco" I get no result.
2) When the correct document is found, is there a possiblility to get a preview of the document and the text-position without opening the document?
( I can click on the i-icon, but I get only the first lines of the document. Not the correct position of the search-string)
Are there any mods or workarounds that I can look for?
Thanks in advance
dave

Sounds like you're evaluating the Alfresco Explorer client (/alfresco/). Try the new Share client (/share/). This is the future and is much more intuitive and user friendly. It has a flash preview option which might address your viewing-but-not-opening question. It doenst show the search hits though. The search in Share is of less quality too.
