Document Action visibility only for admin

Hi All,

I am new to Alfresco. I am using Alfresco 4.1.4. As per the requirement, I need to display the document actions only for admin. It should be hidden for remaining users. Please provide the steps to do this.

You can define a extension to the document library that only shows the actions panes if the user is in a given group. Alternatively, if you give all your users the "consumer" role only then they have only view and copy actions.

Thanks for your response.

If I give consumer role, by default some actions are removed from list. But I need to show upload new version link for that user. So is there any other way to determine the visibility of document action link based on role. And could you tell me the place where I need to look in.
