Hello,

I would like to know how to correctly display a collapsed sub-process. The display is truncated in the editor (the title is missing), and the sub process is opened over the process (display is not handled correctly sub process and process are mixed - tested under three browsers ) when you want to display the diagram when the process is started ( show process) or in reports (process definition heat map ).

thanks for your help,

J.

Do you have some screenshots? I'm not quite following your explanation.

Hmm thanks for those screenshots, that clarifies a lot.

How did you get to this process model? Did you import it?
There seems to be missing bits on the right hand side. Can you open it up in the editor and see everything on the right? If you click the 'arrow' icons when you hover the border of the process to expand the canvas, is the problem still happening in that case?

How did you get to this process model? Did you import it? -> I created it in the Editor

There seems to be missing bits on the right hand side
-> only because the process is long and complex (not possible to have the whole process on a screen (zoom 50%) and being able to read the tasks names (zoom 100%))

Can you open it up in the editor and see everything on the right?
-> my process is ok, just the viewer (e.g. popup opening on the click "show diagram" button in the app : …/activiti-app/workflow/#/apps/35/processes) that displays the sub-process expended and over the tasks that follows the sub process, I cannot manage anything in that viewer.

Hi Jasmine,

Does the process contain multiple sub process levels (parent -> sub -> sub)?
There is a known issue with rendering multi level sub processes in the process diagram.

If not could you create a JIRA for this and attach an exported APP to this issue?

Regards,

Yvo

Hi Yvo,

The process doesn't contain multiple sub process levels, only main process-> collapsed sub-process

My ticket on Jira :

https://activiti.atlassian.net/browse/ACT-4082

regards,

Jasmine

Thanks for the jira. We'll look into fixing it.
