I didn't didn't download the WCM version because I'm not planning on "serving" pages that I put into a space

However, I use it as a repository: We have word docs, that go though approval routing and become PDFs. We want general users to be able to see and download these pdfs from our site.

I'm not sure how best to do this: I would like to avoid doing tons of custom work, but is it possible to show the content of space  with for example a template like my_docs.ftl to anyone accessing my site, sans log-in and navigation to areas outside of this list of documents?

I can get the my site to go to a certain space, but it always requires the login even when the space is accessable to guests.

I'm just not sure where to start reading, or maybe i'm only steps away and just missing some key element in the URL?

You can browse documents in a space with web scripts using a URL. There are a ton of pages in the wiki on web scripts and there are samples in the Content Community.

You should also look at http://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/URL_Addressability which talks about providing guest access via a URL without requiring the user to login.

Thanks! I had found those shortly after I posted.

I had good luck with getting one page to display with the content and the sub spaces. However, if I click a subfolder I get nothing but the same page. It must be something with the url- I'll figure it out!
