Hi,

Iam new to Alfresco. Can anyone tell me what is the use of creating a content in the spaces available in alfresco, when we are not able to move the content to the webproject. I hope the content in the webproject is required ultimately to maintain a website.

A "Space" in alfresco is a special type of node for storing documents in.    You can associate rules, permissions and actions with spaces.

A "Web Project" is a very special structure of nodes which are associated with the wcm machinery.     The contents live in a different store and have features such as sandboxes.     If your content is ultimatly destined for a web site then it should probably go into a web project rather than a regular space, you can then use wcm to manage those assets.

But some of the options such as content rules, advanced workflows, custom metadata attributes/aspects are only provided to the content in the spaces but not for the content in a webproject.
What should I do in order to have such options for the content in webproject
