Hello i would like to know what WCM is in comparasion with the standard Alfresco.
I read some stuff but are these two different products.
Is Alfresco 1.4 supporting the Website devolopment like the WCM Preview or is this something else?
Or has the WCM Product all that what Alfresco 1.4 has?

Will the next Alfresco ECM have the functionality of WCM ?

Thank you

Alfresco WCM is a set of extensions to your base Alfresco platform.  The preview release was based (temporarily) on a branched version of the 1.4 codebase.  As of this past Friday, the WCM development has been merged into the main Alfresco codeline and so when you download the source for Alfresco 1.4, you will be picking up the latest WCM enhancements.

Alfresco WCM is an additional add-on support license to your base Alfresco server.  The additional supported extensions include:

*  XML Publishing
*  Advanced versioning management (file and directory versioning,
    branching, merging, staging)
*  Site virtualization and preview
