Developing Solar Calendar Dashlet

Hi everyone
I am gonna develop a dashlet for our Solar Calendar.
I need some instructions to start up.
where can I find?
can anyone help me?
is it good to use APIs for this purpose?
I'm new to Alfresco and Java.

Hey first of all you need to be aware about the architecture of alfresco share.

Create some basic dashlet

Once you understand the logic and idea.
then you have all the options to add logic in that to create your solar dashlet.
mostly you need to deal with alfresco javascript APIs.
